Surrey Park took on Chrinside Park at Surrey on Saturday keen to redeem from there 142 point humiliation in Round 1 only to  cop the same again.

Surrey could only manage 4.2 (26) to Chirnside Park 23.21 (159) to go down by 133 points.

It meant that on both occassions this year Surrey could only manage to kick 4 goals in both games.

As per normal this season the usual suspects were amongst the best with Caruthers, Ham, Mason & Grace but the positive for coach Adam Rossoukas was the performances of Kane Hall at Centre Half Back, Aaron MacKinnon & Drew Howlett. Both Aaron & Drew both played roles in the midfield throughout the game and showed some really good signs.

"From the previous week where our first half performance was highly creditable there was nothing to suggest anything like that this week" said coach Adam Rossoukas.

Adding to the bad news was the season ending knee injury to Daniel Vance, and with a visit to top of the table Heathmont next week, things do not get any easier for the panthers.

"We need to hang in there and continue to work hard! Every game when you are on the bottom is tough and we just need to stick it out together then who knows, things can turn around very quickly!"
