Carruthers Notches Up 150!! |

 Phil Carruthers this week will play his 150th game for Surrey Park agains The Glen Waverley Hawks.
Carruthers who started as a junior at Surrey becomes the 12th player in its short history to play 150 games.
The Best & Fairest from 2007 has once again been a shining light in what has been a tough year for the panthers.
Carruthers has been touted as the best ruckman in the Division 4
competition not only for his ruck work but for his tireless work rate
around the ground from start to finish.
"Phil is a fantastic footballer" coach Adam Rossoukas said.
"He works so hard on his game!"
"I tried to make him a Centre Half Back when I first came to the club
but since the middle of 2006 he has been sensational in the ruck for
thsi club!"
"He has been loyal and stuck by the club in our tough times and
continued to put his hand up no matter what circumstances. He truly is
the unique clubman and good fella to boot!"
Rossoukas hoped that the boys could get up for Phil this weekend and urged everyone to get down there and support the boys.
