Surrey Falls By 133 points |
 Surrey Park's disappointing start to the 2008 season continued when the Panthers ran into Heathmont at Surrey Park on Saturday.
After trailing by 54 points at half time, Heathmont booted 16 goals in a dominant second half to completely run away with the game and win by 133 points.
Surrey had few winners on the day, although James Wright never stopped trying, while Brian Vance & Phil Carruthers were others to battle hard on the day.
For coach Adam Rossoukas, he felt that the scoreboard in the first half didn't truly reflect there efforts, he said "I thought we had the better of them early in both 1st& 2nd quarters but we just couldn't convert our opportunities"
The news wasn't much better for the Reserves going down by 135 points.
